This topsoil adds organic matter and sphagnum peat moss to your existing soil to help plants and new grass thrive. Use this product as a lawn soil for planting new grass or as garden soil in new or existing gardens. To condition soil for new lawns, spread 1-2 inches of topsoil into your lawn area and mix into the top 1-2 inches of native soil then level the ground. Water thoroughly after seeding.
