You don't need another gadget to make fancy panini - just this simple press! Made in USA, this square ribbed cast iron plate can be used with a 10" square grill pan to get delicious panini and sandwiches as well as grilling chicken and more. For the best panini, pre-heat the press on a separate burner so that both sides of the panini are cooked at the same time.
To care for your your seasoned Lodge Cast Iron panini press, clean the press with a nylon brush and hot water (not in the dishwasher). Towel dry immediately. Apply a light coating of oil while the panini press is still warm - enough to restore the sheen, without being sticky. This will protect your cast iron panini press from moisture.
